Former Arsenal and Chelsea star, Ashley Cole, was victim of an attack in his home at the hands of masked robbers, according to reports. The 39-year-old was at his home in Surrey on the evening on 21 January when a gang wearing balaclavas broke into the house and stole high value jewellery. Neither Cole nor the police have confirmed that it was the former England international who was attacked, and it was not reported at the time, but a source told the Sun: ‘It was a terrifying experience. ‘The robbers sounded very professional and knew exactly what they were doing.
‘They must have deliberately targeted Ashley and cased the place in advance.’ Cole escaped from the horrific experience unharmed, but was said to be ‘extremely shaken’.
