The NRFU president, expressed his delight on the improved standard of competition, which he said reflects the hard work the Union has been doing to ensure Nigeria consistently present quality players and teams for both local and international tournaments.
He noted that, after the international transformation as directed by the African Rugby Union, from the Rugby Football Association, to the much accepted Rugby Football Union, the development of the sports has been very rapid and the number of Nigerians playing the game has increased tremendously, and this is not outside the doggedness, commitment and dedication of the clubs, players, officials, the members of the Union and the entire Rugby Union family members.
