The most interesting part of the whole thing is that, these are some of the best clubs in Nigeria and they are happy returning to action again in a situation devoid of any form of politics or rancor.”
Seven top clubs will feature in the Edward Pam Fom Investments’ Season Game Cup 2019. They are the Plateau Tigers, Eko Islanders, Zaria Elephants, Abuja RFC, Hanwa Spiders, Kaduna Crocodiles and Ilorin Stallions.

These are the seven clubs of the Nigeria Rugby Football Union.

According to the NRFU president, Sir Edward Pam Fom: “The format for the 2019 Season Game Cups would see each of the seven clubs play each other on home and away basis to emerge champions of different cups.

Just on Saturday, June 15, Plateau Tigers RFC just played the Edward Pam Fom Investments’ Season Game Cup’s first leg. The second leg will produce a winner based on the two legs cumulative points and goal aggregate.

“Zaria will go ahead to play Kaduna Crocodiles RFC in a two-legged encounter for another cup. The idea is for every club to play all other clubs so as to have the opportunity to win several cups in a season.
