The Ekiti State Football Association has released a comprehensive list of its soccer activities for the 2019 season.
In a release signed by its Acting Chairman, Mr. Ariyo A.Y, and made available to the press, it stated that, on Monday, 18th March, 2019, the EKSFA would present the Ekiti State Sports Council with a new football net for the goal posts at the Oluyemi Kayode stadium. The Ekiti FA will also receive donations such as corner flags and some cash to fix some mechanical equipment.
On Tuesday, 19th March, 2019, events slated for the day include the unveiling of its trophies and logos for all products it has developed. As well as, a new logo for EKSFA.
On that day, EKSFA would host reputable club owners at an event where Barrister Churchill Oliseh, proprietor of FC Ebedei, who as a guest speaker would present a paper; ‘Football Business: Economic benefits to private and corporate Investors’.
Also on its calendar are the Federation Cup beginning March and also slated for the same month is the coaches workshop; while the Bet9ja Ekiti Football League starts in April.
The EKSFA elections is billed for May- June as well as the Ekiti State Youth league which is also billed to begin in June; The Tertiary Institutions league, the private schools league and the corporate organisations league are billed for September and October, respectively.
And the Governor’s cup holds in November. While the Ekiti FA annual merit awards would round up its busy year in December.
