Roman Reigns in good form as he poses for fan photo amid leukaemia battle

Reigns stunned the WWE Universe last October when he revealed he was first diagnosed with the disease 11 years ago and after quickly putting it in remission the cancer unfortunately returned.

The Big Dog then relinquished the Universal Championship, shortly after dethroning Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, and went back home for treatment.

Now after three months of therapy the four-time world champion looks to be in good condition as he recently met a fan in Hawaii.

The ex-WWE Champion was in his gym gear when he was introduced to the wrestling supporter and seemed to be in high spirits as he happily posed next to him.

KARK 4 TODAY morning anchor Susanne Brunner took the picture in a hotel lobby in Kauai and said that the popular grappler was a “nice guy”.

Brunner tweeted: “Hayden’s day made! Look who we ran into at our hotel in Kauai… Roman Reigns! Nice guy.”

Reigns has made very few public appearances ever since his diagnosis and the first one took place last November during a football match featuring his former college team Georgia Tech taking on rivals the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

The ex-Universal Champion then took a photo with a police officer who shared the pic on Instagram and revealed that the popular wrestler was “doing well”.

The ex-Intercontinental Champion is confident he will beat leukaemia again and return to action better than ever soon.

Reigns said: “The reality is my real name is Joe [Anoa’i] and I’d been living with leukaemia for 11 years… And unfortunately it’s back.

“And because the leukaemia is back, I cannot fulfil my role. I can’t be that fighting champion and I’m going to have to relinquish the Universal Championship.

“I’m not going to lie, I’ll take every prayer you can send my way but I’m not looking for sympathy.
