Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, has declared that his team’s friendly against Egypt which is scheduled to take place in March seriously will be used as the opportunity to demystify the Pharaohs of Egypt by inflicting the worst ever defeat on the North Africans.
The Nigerian FA has announced the venue of March 26 Egypt’s friendly with the Super Eagles, which will take place at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, in Asaba, Delta State which has a capacity of 22,000.
Rohr was quoted saying in an interview that: “I and my assistants are not taking everything about the friend match against Egypt very serious. In fact we are planning to win the friendly match in preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations this year.”
Both Egypt and Nigeria have already sealed qualification to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, which is set to take place either in Egypt or South Africa.
