England Fan FC battle Super Eagles Fans in friendly

Supported by the Fans For Diversity and the Professional Footballers Association, the England Fans Fc battled the Nigeria Super Eagles Fans FC at the Bedfont Sports Football Club Recreation Ground, Hatton Road, Bedfont, Middlesex, London in a ceremonial protocol game ahead of the Three Lions versus Super Eagles of Nigeria World Cup 2018 warm up match slated for the Wembley Stadium 5pm UK time.
The game was played as ‘The Captain Christopher Butcher RA Memorial Cup.’ Nigeria Eagles Fans FC was captained by NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, while England Fans Fc was captained by former England centre back, Terry Butcher.
His Excellency, Mr. Paul Arkwright, the High Commissioner to Nigeria, NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, vice president Shehu Dikko, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, Muhammed Kawu, Suleiman Kwanbe, Onome Obruthe, all played in the game with Seyi Akinwunmi – Vice-President Nigeria Football Federation, serving as a non-plying captain in the which board member and Chairperson of the Nigeria Women Football League, Aisha Falode, serving as the Team Manager for the Nigerian team. The Nigeria Super Eagles Fans Fc was coached by two board members, Emeka Inyama and Felix Anyansi Agwu.
The players in the England Fans Fc team include Mr. Patrick Barclay, Chairman, Football Writers’ Association of England, Major Ben Watson, Royal Artillery, Mr. Terry Reader, Club Secretary, Bedfont Sports Football Club, Mrs. Mukat Banwait, Senior Officer, UK Border Force, Mrs. Vicky Adeusi, Senior Officer, UK Border Force, Ms. Lindsay England, and founder, ‘Just a Ball Game,’ Mr. Andrew Snarski.
Before the kick off, a one minute silence to remember Captain Christopher Butcher, was observed.
