Russia 2018 : Kelechi Nwankali backs Eagles to perform in Russia

Nigeria international and Arsenal FC of England youngster, Kelechi Nwankali, has sent a good will message to the Super Eagles as they prepare to intensify their training ahead of the 2018 World Cup final in Russia.
The former captain of the Nigeria U-20 team called on the players to ensure that country is well represented at the Mundial.
He said despite the fact that the Eagles were grouped with tough opposition the players are experienced enough to hold their own against any team.
According to the attacking midfielder, the results of Super Eagles in some of the friendly’s played earlier should boost their morale on the task ahead.
“We should not be among the teams that would make-up the numbers at the World Cup instead be among the teams that will make it interesting because we have all it takes”
He said a good result in the opening game will help lift the confidence level of the team.
He disclosed that he is looking forward to playing regularly in the coming season, despite playing 18 games during the season the former ASJ Football Star scored 4goals from his midfield position.
The player who was loaned to VVV Venlo in the Dutch Eredevise and MVV Maastricht in the 2nd division had a 75% tackle ratio and 84% passing ratio in the just ended football season.
Kelechi earlier played for VVV Venlo before he was later sent to MVV Maastricht by Arsenal on loan.
